Pembroke: Car recovered after being stuck in mud near Mill Pond [UPDATED]

DYFED-POWYS POLICE and Mid and West Wales Fire & Rescue Service have responded to reports of car stuck in the Mill Pond, Pembroke, this morning (Mar 12).

Officers at the scene told a Herald reporter that the car was reported empty.

Nobody has been injured and the owner of the car is not at the scene.

At approximately 10am a recovery vehicle arrived at the scene and the car was winched out of the river.

The winching of the car took nearly an hour as the car was stuck in deep mud.
